Jessica Byrd
Jessica Byrd is the worship leader at Sound House. She studied at Los Angeles College of Music, and later on, Cornel School of Contemporary Music, where she received her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. During her last year at Cornel, she was a part of the school’s worship team for weekly chapel, and studied worship leading and worship songwriting with Tommy Walker. In 2016, a video of Jessica singing MercyMe’s “I Can Only Imagine” won her first place in the Starfish competition held by 95.9 The Fish radio. She then performed at the Christian music festival, Fishfest, alongside MercyMe, Phil Wickham, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, and several others. Jessica feels so blessed to be able to combine her love for Christ and music, and to have the opportunity to share that love with others.
